It seems like we just opened Amarillo and here we are buzzing about another new McAlister’s location!  Our 11th McAlister’s Deli in the DFW area opens on December 10, 2010 at 10:30 AM in East Plano at 701 North Central Expressway (it’s the corner of Hwy 75 and Plano Parkway).

How about a little back story on this one?  We’ve had a great restaurant in West Plano for over five years and for nearly that long we have wanted to expand and bring McAlister’s Deli to more customers in the Plano area.  Moving East to the Hwy 75 corridor seemed like an obvious fit, especially considering we could not only reach Plano but also customers to the South in Richardson and North Dallas and to the North in Allen.  It took a long time for us to find the perfect location but when we heard The Container Store was moving and the developer was turning that building into a multi-tenant retail center we jumped at the chance.  This is an example of a location that literally spent years in the site search phase before we found just the right spot to service our customers.
