The Saxton Group

We’ve been running a contest among all of our restaurants for the past month, encouraging them to engage with their guest and let them know about the restaurant’s Facebook page so we can communicate with as many customers as possible through Facebook.  We’re quite active on Facebook – we run a page for The Saxton Group and we have individual pages for each restaurant or market – a total of 26 fan pages on Facebook communicating with more than 15,000 customers.

The dust has settled and it’s time to announce the winning restaurant: McAlister’s Deli of Beaumont, TX.  Listen to this stat:  the team in Beaumont has grown their fan base by more than 300% in just four weeks!  Incredible!  Beaumont General Manager Lynn Ferguson will receive a $200 cash prize.

There are also prizes for # 2 and #3 who both did a fantastic job.  $100 is on the way to General Manager Danny Storey in Amarillo and $40 for third place Lloyd Ortega in Weatherford.  Great showings by our runners up as well!

We’re also giving away a pizza party to the staff that came up with the most creative ideas to spread the word about their Facebook page.  I’m still looking for those ideas so please e-mail me with your stories.
